MTV Video: Mary J. Blige discusses 2011 album, calls it "My Life 2011"

September 17, 2010
OMG! The Queen of R&B and Soul recently discussed details while at the 2010 Vma's, on her up and coming 10th studio album slated for a 2011 release.

She boldly and proudly categorized the album along the lines of what critics unanimously consider to be the two most important R&B albums of the 90's & arguably of all time...My Life & What's the 411?.

Peep the video below:

The Queen is about to snatch wigs, nails, & gimmicks!

She's not fuucking around, she's taking it back & she hasn't used this phrasing since "The Breakthrough" era. While Beyonce snatched the Ciaras, Keri's, & Ashanti's wigs. And Blige put Britney and Janet Jackson careers into retirement (based on their albums being released the same year) NO ONE has had the ability to put Mary's career into retirement, but she's continued to influence others like Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Jazmine Sullivan, Monica, Alicia Keys, & Keyshia Clone.

"Stronger withEach Tear" sold over 820K in the states with just two singles & sold 1 million copies worldwide. This era she's sold 2.7 million records.

"Each Tear" A number 1 hit in Italy & her album is Gold there.

"I Am" went #11 on Japans Hot 100 & Top 40 on UK's Hot 100.

Not to mention, her 2010 Live Grammy performance sold over 50,000 downloads the following week, beating thin pop voice sensations Ugly Gaga & Beyonce for their dull performances.

Mary J. Blige continues to show relevancy and by the looks of things, her career isn't going anywhere until she makes the call.
