Concert Review: Mary J. Blige's voice Amazes Kpop Artist As Her Seoul Concert

The internationally-known female hiphop soul and R&B artist Mary J. Blige recently came to Seoul for a concert.

Blige is not just a singer, but also a very talented songwriter, producer, and actress. In addition, she’s received a total of 9 Grammy Awards, 4 American Music Awards, and 8 multi-platinum albums during the course of her career! Because of her overwhelming singing abilities, including the soulful meaning of her songs, many other artists from around the world (including Kpop artists!) have become her fans.

The singer chose South Korea as her first stop for her Music Saved My Life World Tour, which was held on January 16, 2011 at the Grand Peace Palace at Kyunghee University in Seoul. Some Kpop artists were present in the concert and were able to experience an awesome show.

Former Fly to the Sky member Brian Joo tweeted, “Wow~ Mary J. Blidge really took me back to the good ol’days… She killed it tonight^^…”

One Way‘s Chance commented, “The show was fantastic. Wow mary’s live was amazing…”''

Actress Kim Hyojin also tweeted about the international female singer’s amazing voice and moved she felt by it.
These Kpop artists and the Koreans who attended were not the only ones who enjoyed the whole show, however. Mary J. Blige herself claimed to have a good time as well. She tweeted, “Thank u Korea 4 an amazing night and a warm Welcome!!! My first Time here!! Felt like home!!! God Bless y’all!!!”
